Who we are
Fantasy Freedom is owned and operated by Robert Woods, who acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at helper@fantasyfreedom.app.
What we collect
We collect the information needed to provide the service: your email address and login credentials when you create an account; your fantasy football league rosters, matchups, and team settings when you choose to sync them from ESPN or Yahoo; your saved team names and player lists; and basic usage and device data (such as IP address and browser type) needed to operate and secure the site.
How we use your data and legal basis
Your data is used to provide the service you signed up for — projections, lineup suggestions, trade analysis, draft tracking, and standings simulations (performance of our contract with you); to keep the service secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests); to improve the product (our legitimate interests); and to respond to support requests. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: our hosting and database provider; Paddle (Paddle.com), our Merchant of Record, which processes payments, manages subscriptions, and handles tax compliance and invoicing for your purchases; professional advisers where necessary; and authorities where required by law. Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle and never touch our servers.
Third-party connections
We use Yahoo and ESPN APIs only when you explicitly connect those accounts. We request the minimum permissions necessary (read-only access to fantasy league data). You can disconnect these accounts at any time from the sync pages.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or request deletion, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet legal or tax obligations (for example, transaction records held by Paddle).
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion of your data, to receive a copy of your data in a portable format, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at helper@fantasyfreedom.app and we will respond within one month.
Data storage and security
Account data is stored securely through our cloud hosting provider. Sensitive tokens (such as Yahoo OAuth tokens and ESPN session cookies) are encrypted at rest, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit and access controls.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and browser storage required to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as your selected team and display settings). We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
